Aux Tale Gravy Music Group is a Toronto based record label that is dedicated to developing richness, shifting culture & changing the status quo in world music. Led by Nivie Singh (Punjab), Kayla Borden (Jamaican & African Nova Scotian) and Reed Jones (Jamaican & African Nova Scotian), we combine the perfect ingredients to bring you the best of the best from around the world.

From our cookhouse to the world, ATG shares our signature ‘one pot’ recipe of simmering spices serving a variety of cultural dishes (music to ‘feed the people’, everywhere. Aux Tale Gravy is passionate about working with an authentic roster of artists to create lasting ‘legacy work’ preserving unique sounds in an international commercial music landscape.

As Director of Label Services at Aux Tale Gravy Music Group (ATG), Nivie Singh ensures every release is strategically executed, providing artists with the support they need to thrive. Like turmeric—a symbol of cultural preservation and healing—they bring strength, longevity, and transformation to ATG, nurturing artists, protecting creative legacies, and guiding careers with intention.

With over a decade of experience in the music industry, Nivie has worked with labels such as Ishkōdé Records, Leaf Music, and Nycesound Productions, specializing in distribution, marketing, and artist development. Their tenure as Operations Manager at CKDU 88.1 FM sharpened their ability to streamline operations and cultivate meaningful industry connections. Currently, they are also part of the marketing team for the inaugural Departure Festival + Conference, further solidifying their role in shaping the future of the music industry.

At ATG, Nivie oversees label operations, release strategies, and industry partnerships, ensuring artists reach global audiences while maintaining artistic integrity. Committed to amplifying diverse voices and fostering innovation, they play a pivotal role in shaping ATG into more than just a record label—it’s a movement redefining the future of music.

Reed "iZrEAL" Jones is a visionary poet, filmmaker, activist, and A&R leader whose deep roots in Toronto and Upper Hammonds Plains, NS, shape his approach to music and social change. As Director of A&R at Aux Tale Gravy Music Group (ATG), he brings the boldness of paprika—infusing his work with creativity, cultural depth, and innovative flair.

A pioneer in battle rap, Reed founded Canada’s first battle rap league, The Elements League, and co-led Word iz Bond, elevating spoken word and Hip Hop. His activism runs deep through projects like Black Power Hour, Black Exodus, and Mukasa Eco Retreat & Farms. Reed's activism extends these initiatives where he empowers marginalized communities, promoting both creative and global empowerment through his multifaceted career.

A visionary in the music industry, Kayla Borden is the Director of Operations at Aux Tale Gravy Music Group (ATG), where she drives the label’s strategic growth, global music distribution, and artist development. With a deep passion for amplifying underrepresented voices, Kayla plays a pivotal role in shaping ATG’s innovative approach to digital strategy, publishing, and brand partnerships. Inspired by the essence of Callaloo—a fusion of cultures, resilience, and creativity—Kayla blends business acumen with cultural storytelling, ensuring that every artist under ATG’s banner receives the support, protection, and exposure they deserve. With a background in business administration, marketing, and artist/event development, Kayla has built a reputation for bridging the gap between artistry and business, crafting sustainable careers in an ever-evolving industry. As a leader in operations, she continues to redefine what’s possible for creatives navigating the modern music landscape.
